The Bead Society meets the first Thursday of every month. The meetings are held from 7-9 pm in the recreation room at St John’s Lutheran Church, 1410 Ponce de Leon Avenue NE (the corner of Ponce and Oakdale) in Atlanta. The doors open at 6:30 for refreshments and “Show & Tell” prior to the start of the meeting.

Dues are $25 per year and include up to eleven instructional projects – not to mention door prizes and our blow-out annual Holiday Celebration in December. A bunch of us also retire after the meeting to the local pizza parlor to stuff our faces and continue the beading atmosphere and camaraderie – any and all are welcome to join us.

A few other benefits of becoming a member include:

  • Discounts from participating bead stores and vendors
  • Fellowship at a nearby pizza joint after each meeting
  • Additional opportunities to expand your knowledge hosted by ABS
